Welch Room
Named after the artist Wade Welch, whose work adorns the walls, this room is located on the second floor of the house. The grand four-poster, hand-carved king "Rice Bed" is the centerpiece of this room. Antique heart pine floors and faux finish painted walls add additional ambiance. This popular room also features a country French armoire, a writing desk, two comfortable wingback chairs, and a private bath.

Escape Room
A beautiful mural painted by local artist Christy Liffman, is the focal point and namesake of The Escape Room. Come "escape" for a night in this spacious guest room located on the first floor of the house. One of the largest rooms in the house, it features a four-poster wrought-iron King bed and a twin trundle daybed, making it ideal for those traveling with friends or children.
Paintings by Don Wright and Tom Onig adorn the walls, and a spacious private bath -- complete with bidet -- will accommodate even the worldliest traveler. Other features include a sitting area with a wrought-iron table and two chairs, a writing desk, and a bureau.

Garden Room
The Garden Room is perfect for a romantic getaway. Located on the second floor, this cozy guest room features a wrought-iron queen bed, a sitting area with two comfortable upholstered chairs, and a deluxe shower stall. This room also offers a private balcony overlooking the beautiful bluffs on the property where the Mississippi River used to run. The Garden Room features original artwork by Don Wright, Ellen O'Neal, Jonathan Sharp, and Bill Stracener.
Rex Room
True to its name, this room is fit for a king! Located on the first floor, the Rex is the largest room in the house and our most popular. It features a king-size bed and a queen-size sofa bed. Guests staying in this room will also enjoy patio access to the backyard with a porch swing just steps away from the room. A large landscape painting by Patti Petersen hangs over the bed. The room also features a writing desk, a sitting area with two wingback chairs, and a private bath (shower only).
