Our architect's favorite bedroom is Evergreen on the second floor. Here an elegant plantation Queen size, solid walnut, Eastlake half-tester bed sets the style. The bathroom has a stall shower only. An enticing window seat nestled among the big bay windows beckons you to sit and daydream overlooking Washington Ave.
ROSEDOWN
Located on the first floor and on the alley side of the house is the shaded Rosedown Room. It has a Full-size, 4 poster highback walnut bed. This room has a separate vanity area that connects to its bathroom.

The Destrehan Room is our best spot for travelers seeking our most quiet room as it is on the second floor, alley side of the house. It is furnished with a Queen plantation style, 1850's Renaissance highback bed. There is a vanity area and an original, deep, cast-iron bathtub perfect for a relaxing bath with a stunning stained-glass view.
SHADOWS
The most intriguing room at the Grand Victorian is the Shadows. Located on the second floor, it features an authentic, plantation Full size, rolling pin tester bed with an original, deep, cast iron bathtub perfect for bubble baths. The bay window overlooking Washington Ave and the second floor guest balcony as well as the wood tones help this luxurious room live up to its name!

A romantic option for the discerning traveler on the second floor would lead to the Magnolia Room. It is located on the alley side of the house. The plantation Full size, Victorian tester bed is the highlight of this room. This beautiful walnut bed wants to lull the weary guest.

GREENWOOD
The Greenwood is on the second floor and features a King 4-poster bed, a sitting area and a private balcony overlooking Saint Charles Avenue. The bathroom has an oversized walk-in shower with bench that is overshadowed by a Mardi Gras themed stain glass window and a double sink vanity.
